Argentina has extended for 60 months an exemption of import tax on around 41 renewables-related components, allowing investors to quickly build projects to help the country to meet its 8% renewable energy target in 2018.
The exemption was due to end at the end of 2017, and its extension confirms an earlier Recharge report. Many of the 59 projects contracted at last year’s two tenders, including 1.4GW
