German developer BayWa r.e. has expanded its Australian activities through the acquisition of local energy developer Future Energy that has a 300MW wind power project pipeline.
BayWa r.e. already had a solar pipeline of around the same size in Australia.
“The investment in our first pipeline of Australian wind and small-scale solar projects comes quickly after our growth in the utility-scale solar sector where we have established a 300 MW portfolio,“ says Matthias Taft, board member of BayWa responsible for the energy business.
