Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has won a five-year extension to its service contract for the 504MW Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm off the coast of Suffolk in eastern England.
The contract to provide scheduled servicing, troubleshooting and technical support to the 140 SWT-3.6-107 offshore machines at the site builds upon service work already provided by the OEM since the offshore array’s commissioning in 2013.
