UK-based MPI Offshore has been confirmed as preferred supplier for the transportation and installation of offshore wind turbine foundations and offshore substations at Statkraft and Innogy’s 860MW Triton Knoll offshore project in the UK.
MPI says its jack-up vessel MPI Discovery is slated to lift, transport and install 92 monopile foundations and transition pieces, and two offshore substations, in an all-weather inclusive turnkey operation.
