As the once-roaring wind markets of Ontario and Quebec slow to a crawl, Canada’s wind industry finds itself in the midst of a transition period – and one that has come with some painful adjustments.
Yet positive signals abound, with developers turning to new directions for growth, and wind more competitive than it’s ever been, says Robert Hornung, president of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA).
