Danish turbine maker Vestas said it has reached almost 700MW of orders in Argentina’s resurgent wind power market after announcing a firm deal for 40MW at the La Banderita wind farm.
La Banderita is controlled by the local investment group Grupo Frali and was contracted at the RenovAr 1.5 tender last year, when 1.6GW of wind was awarded. Argentina has contracted a total of 2.4GW
