Chilean power company Colbún won a 30-year land tenure concession from the national government to develop a 607MW wind power complex in the northern Chilean town of Taltal, in the Antofagasta region.
The company was the winner of tender of 7,945 hectares of government land that has been set aside for the development of renewable energy projects, which was started last year.
