WindEurope and wind power associations from countries bordering the Baltic Sea signed an offshore wind declaration in Tallin, asking governments to enhance their regional cooperation and support offshore wind development in the region.

The Baltic Sea, where 1.5GW of offshore wind is grid-connected today, will represent the second largest basin for offshore wind, with potentially 9GW installed by 2030, according to (the central scenario in) WindEurope’s recently launched 2030 report.
