Wales’ largest onshore wind farm – Vattenfall’s 228MW Pen y Cymoedd project located between Neath and Aberdare in South Wales - has been officially opened by the country’s First Minister Carwyn Jones.

The Swedish utility said that 52% of the £400m ($535m) investment made in the project had gone to businesses in Wales. It estimated this had secured work for more than 1,000 workers in Wales over the past three years.
