Spain-based player Siemens Gamesa has entered the Pakistan market with a deal to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services on a 50MW wind farm.
Siemens Gamesa, in consortium with Sumec Hardware and Tools, will install 25 of its G114-2MW wind turbine generators for independent power producer Zephyr Power in Gharo, in the Thatta District.
The turbines have been designed “to maximize performance in high dust and high temperatures sites”, said Siemens Gamesa.
