German utility Innogy and Netherlands-based water group Noorderzijlvest are pushing ahead with their plans to develop wind turbines on the Dutch seawall – work that could help solve the Netherland’s space-limitations problems.

Innogy’s head of the sea dike project, Martine van Gemert, tells Anamaria Deduleasa that the project is “well underway” and a turbine supplier is expected to be chosen by the end of the year.
