Enercon is building two major training centres in France, reflecting the importance to the German onshore OEM of a market where it led the pack in the first half of the year.

Enercon this week inaugurated one facility at Le Meux in the Hauts-de-France region and started construction at a second a few kilometres away in Longueil-Saint-Marie.

The manufacturer – which operates a concrete tower factory in the same area – said 600 staff a year, including 350 international delegates, are expected to use the two sites.
