Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has appointed Alan Feeley to the newly-created post of chief cybersecurity officer, reflecting the increasing profile of the issue in the global power sector.
Feeley – who extends his existing remit as chief information officer to cover the new role – will manage the wind OEM’s cybersecurity operational framework and consolidate security developments in the context of the digital transformation of the merged company.
