A joint venture between Dutch foundation maker Sif Holding and Belgium’s Smulders Projects have signed preferred supplier and early works agreements for the design and fabrication of 90 monopiles and transition pieces for Innogy and Statkraft’s 860MW Triton Knoll offshore project in the UK.
The deal also includes two foundations for offshore substations for the project 32 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire.
