Germany’s grid agency BNetzA has launched this year’s last and final onshore wind tendering round, still with rules in place that likely will again favour citizens’ cooperatives and other grass roots bidders.
Interested parties can hand in their bids until 2 November for the 1GW auction that has a price ceiling of €70/MWh ($83.70/MWh) of produced electricity.
The average price in the 1GW previous auction in August fell to €42.8
