Representatives of turbine OEM Siemens Gamesa and developer Enel Russia have met with a high-level Russian government official to discuss potential new production facilities there to supply Enel’s wind pipeline in the country, Russian wind power federation RAWI says.
Enel earlier this year won the rights to build two wind parks in the Murmansk and Rostov regions with a combined capacity of 291MW, and has named Siemens Gamesa as preferred turbine supplier.
