Shell Energy North America (SENA) has closed a deal announced earlier to acquire MP2 Energy, a retail energy supplier that is also a rising player in the rapidly expanding US corporate market for renewable power and on-site generation management.
MP2 Energy, based in The Woodlands north of Houston, is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of SENA and will continue under existing management.
