Kimberly-Clark has finalized two long-term power off-take agreements totaling 245MW with EDF Renewable Energy and Invenergy – among the largest deals to date involving wind by a US consumer products company.

It was also the second major US corporate transaction in less than 48 hours with brewer Anheuser-Busch on Wednesday announcing it will buy roughly 152.MW of capacity from a wind farm being built by Enel Green Power in Oklahoma.
