Power Company of Wyoming, the developer behind the landmark 1,000-turbine Chokecherry and Sierra Madre (CCSM) wind project in Wyoming, says finding a buyer for its power in California looks challenging, but remains confident that it will qualify both 1.5GW phases for the full production tax credit (PTC).

Roxane Perruso, vice president and general counsel for the Anschutz Corp.-owned Power Company of Wyoming, recently reminded Wyoming lawmakers that securing a buyer for the wind power generated by the as-yet-unbuilt CCSM project is no sure thing, according to local press reports.
