Suomen Hyötytuuli is ready to employ offshore wind power on an industrial scale in Finland, said the developer’s chairman after it commissioned the first offshore array in near-Arctic conditions off Tahkoluoto on the Finnish west coast.
The developer has taken the 42MW near-shore pilot project online last week after Belgian installer Jan De Nul had completed the installation of 10 Siemens 4.2MW
