Brazil’s Mines and Energy Ministry has set 18 and 20 December for its next power capacity auction rounds, while confirming its intention to launch two additional tenders in 2018.
Project sponsors have until 27 September to register for auction rounds later this year at the federal energy planning authority EPE, allowing projects eligible for prior tenders that were cancelled last year to be fast-tracked.
