The Nordex Group has unveiled plans to save €45m ($53.6m) in 2018 that include cutting its European staff by 400 to 500 by the end of this year, responding to a decline in demand and a sharp change in market conditions in its German core market and elsewhere in Europe.
Cost of materials and other operating expenses will account for €21m and personnel costs for €24m, the company said.
