China’s Goldwind will supply 40 of its 2.5MW turbines to a 100MW wind farm in Argentina in the first stage of a push that could see it build a 450MW presence in the country by 2020, Recharge has learned.
The deal is for a project that successfully bid in the second tender of Argentina’s RenovAr renewable energy programme, which concluded in the fourth quarter of 2016.
