Driven by Europe and China, the world’s cumulated offshore wind capacity grew by 1.6GW to 16.1GW in the first half of 2017 compared to 2016, and could grow to up to 220GW by 2030, the Wind Research consultancy says in a report carried out with Wirtschaftsforum Offshore Helgoland.
