A regulatory judge in Oklahoma threw out a motion by the state’s attorney general to prevent a subsidiary of American Electric Power (AEP) from seeking pre-approval to recover its roughly 30% cost share of a massive $4.5bn wind and transmission project.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission, which regulates public service companies, will now act on a waiver submitted by Public Service Co.
