GE will supply 87, 1.7-103 wind turbines for a 150MW project in Jhimpir, Pakistan, under an agreement signed with local firm Tricon Boston Consulting Private Limited.
GE will deliver the turbines to Power China, the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for installation in the Gharo-Keti Bandar Wind Corridor in Jhimpir, the province of Sindh, outside Karachi.
GE will also provide 10 years of operations and maintenance services as part of the contract.
