Norway-based offshore contractor Inocean has acquired the outstanding shares in ABB Inocean, expanding its focus within offshore wind.
Zurich-based industrial group ABB and Oslo-based Inocean had been joint venture partners since 2012, when the duo formed ABB Inocean. Within the joint venture, ABB handled the electrical and cabling work, while Inocean focused on the subsea platforms that hold the massive offshore substations above water.
