Leading diesel and gas engine producer Cummins has signed a long-term virtual power purchase agreement that will enable EDP Renewables North America to expand by 75MW its Meadow Lake VI wind farm in northern Indiana.
The additional capacity is equivalent to the amount of electricity that Cummins uses each year at manufacturing plants in its headquarters state.
The agreement benefits both parties.
