The average price in Germany’s 1.01GW second onshore wind tender fell to €42.8/MWh ($50.34) of produced electricity, with most winning bids again going to citizens’ cooperatives that need fewer permits to be able to participate in the auction and get more time to build their projects.

The average price level came down from €57.1/MWh in the country’s first (807MW) onshore tender in May.
