Dong Energy, the biggest offshore wind operator globally, sees oil companies Shell and Statoil as serious competitors in its core offshore wind business, not only in Europe but globally, comments by CEO Henrik Poulsen show.
“I believe that Shell and Statoil clearly are competitors of ours all around the world,” Poulsen said during a conference call on second quarter results.
