Goldwind Americas has won contracts to supply turbines totaling 60MW of nameplate capacity to One Energy Enterprises for various distributed generation projects, with a firm order of 20 GW 87/1500 turbines scheduled for immediate delivery.
The first four permanent magnet direct-drive turbines will be installed for projects to supply wind energy to facilities in Marion and Ottawa, O hio, owned by Whirlpool Corporation, a leading manufacturers of household appliances.
