Siemens Gamesa says it has set a new record in Asia by installing the tallest turbines on the continent at the 67.5MW Sarahnlom wind farm in Thailand.
The turbines are equipped with 153-metre tall towers, and including their 56-metre blades reach a total height of 210-metres
The project is owned by Thai engineering company Gunkul and is being built by developer PowerChina ZhongNan with 33 units of the Gamesa G114-2.0
