The Dutch economics ministry has invited interested parties to provide feedback on its ranking criteria for a possible subsidy-free tender for the 700MW Hollandse Kust South 1&2 offshore zone that is scheduled for this autumn.

Following the game changing result of Germany’s first offshore wind tender in April in which 1.38GW of offshore acreage was allocated to zero-subsidy bids, the government in The Hague decided to give developers seeking no subsidy the first chance to bid for Hollandse Kust South 1&2.
