Energy services company Wood Group has been chosen to carry out power performance testing (PPT) on the €1.1bn ($1.2bn) 1GW Fosen Vind onshore wind project, located in central Norway.
The two-and-a-half year contract will see Wood Group’s clean energy team install 29 guyed-lattice met masts, and undertake data monitoring and analysis for the site calibration phase.
The contractor will then install power monitoring equipment fitted to a number of wind turbine generators for the power curve test phase.
