GE has agreed a 119MW turbine supply deal to equip an Engie wind farm in Australia.

The US OEM will deliver a mixture of 3.8MW and 3.4MW to the Willogoleche Wind Farm in South Australia, Engie’s second wind project in Australia.

Willogoleche, located 160km north of Adelaide, is due to enter service in mid-2018.

GE Renewable Energy CEO Jérôme Pécresse said: “In Australia, we are now working on nearly $2bn in wind farm projects, representing more than 900MW generation capacity.
