Construction has finished at the new £6m ($8m) Wirral base, which will serve as the offshore wind farm operations base for Dong Energy’s Burbo Bank wind farm in the Irish Sea off northwest England.
The facility at Kings Wharf, Seacombe will serve both Burbo Bank offshore wind farm and the new 258MW Burbo Bank Extension, which opened in May this year.
