US wind-tower maker Broadwind Energy says it is starting to see better communications out of key customer Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, following a rocky start for the recently created wind giant.

Finalised in April nearly a year after it was first announced, the merger of Spain’s Gamesa and Siemens’ wind business is of big consequence to Chicago-based Broadwind, as Siemens and Gamesa have separately been two of the company’s three largest customers in recent years – with General Electric being the third.
