Top management at German industrial giant Siemens today said Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy now has the right leadership team in place to succeed, as they faced questions over a faltering start for its newly-created wind subsidiary.
Siemens executives insisted Siemens Gamesa is still well placed to emerge as a powerful market leader in the wind sector, despite a debut quarterly contribution that saw orders fall sharply due to a slowdown in the Indian market and “volatility” in the offshore business.
