Renewable Energy Systems (RES) has sold its 148MW Cactus Flats wind project in central Texas to Southern Power, continuing its 3GW joint development agreement with the unit of utility giant Southern Company.
Located in Concho County, Texas, the Cactus Flats project is due for completion in late 2018 – and already has corporate power-purchase agreements in place for its full output with General Mills and General Motors.
