Deepwater Wind is planning what it says will be the world’s largest offshore wind project paired with storage off the US state of Massachusetts, in a link-up with battery pioneer Tesla .
The US developer unveiled proposals for the 144MW Revolution Wind project for deployment about 48km (30 miles) from the coast, about 19km south of Martha’s Vineyard, paired with a 40MWh Tesla battery system.
