Onshore uncertainty warning as Germany adds 2.28GW in H1

Even as they unveiled strong half-year figures for the country’s onshore growth, German wind bodies joined OEM Nordex in warning of the market uncertainty caused by the rules of the first batch of tenders in the sector.

Germany added a gross 2.28GW of onshore capacity in the January to June period, said Germany’s wind energy federation BWE and VDMA Power Systems, which represents wind manufacturers.
