North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper faces mounting political pressure to act on a controversial bill that would impose an 18-month moratorium on new wind projects and expansion of Avangrid Renewables’ 208MW facility – the only one in operation in the state.
Cooper, a Democrat, has a Monday deadline to put his signature on the legislation, veto it or let it become law without his signature.
