New French wind dips to 492MW in H1 as Enercon leads

Wind installations in France dipped slightly in the first half of 2017 due to policy uncertainty, with Germany’s Enercon taking the biggest share of the 492MW added, said French industry body FEE.

The January to June figure was a 13% decrease on the first half of 2016 due to “uncertainties associated with the evolution of the economic framework of onshore wind”, an FEE statement said.
