Siemens Gamesa has confirmed it will equip the Tolo 1 wind farm that will be one of the first built in Indonesia, as first reported by Recharge.

The deal will see the Spain-based manufacturer deliver 20 of its SWT-3.6-130 machines to the project, which is due to be commissioned in early 2018 in Jeneponto on the island of Sulawesi.

The OEM will work in a consortium with local construction group PT PP on Tolo 1 under a deal that also includes a five-year O&M contract.
