Danish group Vestas has landed a fresh order in the Dominican Republic from Spanish player Elecnor.
The new deal, with an undisclosed value, will see Vestas supply and install 14 of its V117-3.45 MW turbines for the 48MW Larimar II wind farm, located in the Enriquillo region.
Turbine delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2018 whilst commissioning is expected in the third quarter of 2018.
