Norwegian group Finnmark Kraft and French investment fund Ardian have flicked the on-switch at the 52MW Hamnefjell wind farm in Norway’s far-northern region.
The project partners said that the first of the 15 Vestas wind turbines is now producing power.
Construction of the wind farm started last year and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter. So far 10 turbines have been installed.
