Poland-based cable manufacturer TELE-FONIKA Kable (TFKable) is moving to acquire UK player JDR in a bid to enhance the range of services the two partners can provide to industries including offshore wind.
JDR supplies subsea umbilicals and power cables used in the global offshore renewable, oil and gas industries, while TFKable is a global producer of wires and cables.
Both companies have a long history of collaboration, with TFKable being JDR’s business partner providing water-blocked power cores for its cable and umbilical systems.
