Danish OEM Vestas has landed multiple turbines supply deals in Sweden totaling over 400MW.
The company inked its largest delivery so far in Sweden, with an order from APG Group and Vasa Vind for 80 V136-3.45 turbines for the 288MW Åskälen wind farm.
The turbines ordered will run in power optimised mode as 3.6MWs, which will boost the wind project's economics through increased annual energy production courtesy of the beefed up model's combination of larger rotor and high capacity factor.
