UK-based player DeepOcean has been awarded a contract by Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke GmbH (NSW) for export cable transportation, installation and trenching services, all related to the 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm, off Germany.
Nordenham-based NSW was contracted by TenneT Offshore, the Dutch-German transmission system operator, to establish the grid connection between the Merkur offshore substation and the DolWin gamma converter platform.
