The installation of Finland’s first offshore array, the 40MW Tahkoluoto wind farm near Pori in the northern part of the Baltic Sea, is likely to be completed by mid-July, Toni Sulameri, the managing director of developer Suomen Hyötytuuli, tells Recharge.
“After the first two turbine installations [last weekend], the jack-up vessel is currently being loaded. Weather permitting, we aim to install the next turbine during the weekend,” Sulameri said in an e-mailed response.
